Panke presents a second exhibition at its newly opened gallery space, opening on Friday the 25th of November.
Artist and filmmaker Fil Ieropoulos will install a multi-screen work, based on his recently completed PhD at the University of the Creative Arts in the UK. Fil’s work is focused in poetics and his research examines closely the relationship between the moving image and poetic tropes. He is specifically interested in the notion of ‘parallelism’ and how it can be applied to installation strategies.
Fil’s work has been showcased in spaces and experimental film festivals in the UK, Greece, Germany, Switzerland etc, but this will be the first time this particular installation is presented to the Berlin audience. For more information about his work, please visit: www.fil-i.co.uk
You can also find the whole of his thesis on the ‘film poem’ here: http://www.fil-i.co.uk/phd-installation
